The American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine requires that members

Strive to advance his/her knowledge and skills in the practice of medicine

  • Use every opportunity to improve the public’s understanding of the role of their specialty of Urgent care medicine
  • Strive for excellence in all aspects of medical practice
  • Maintain the highest standard of personal conduct
  • Possess a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine
  • Have not been in ethical violation of another professional group’s standards
  • Have not been convicted of a felony
  • Have not been disciplined by the Board of Professional Regulation in the state in which the applicant practices medicine
